After the sun the sky’s next lesson is duality. The sun sets nightly and gives way to the moon, stars and darkness. Shadows and reflected light where the sun once made everything clear leads our thoughts to the existence of difference, perspective, and conflict.  Conflict; separation and duality actually becomes aware to you even before the sun. Before any objects or subjects there was a perspective, and perspective already means fractions and separation.  It is only because the Sun is so  brilliant that we noticed it first, and because it is because the Sun is so powerful that the Sun even gives us the idea of union, of omnipresence and of a total and complete whole. This idea shines on in the background of our thoughts and feelings even after we become aware that before we knew the Sun we knew there was division at the very core of our awareness.
